Dubai Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, UAE’s premier Cosmetic Surgery and Hair Transplant center, recently held a Media live demo event on some of the popular cosmetic and anti-aging treatments that the clinic offers on a daily basis. The event, which was held at Brightpoint Royal Women’s Hospital in Abu Dhabi attracted top UAE media personalities and social media influencers.

The Media Demo event was hosted by Dr Gabriel Bonesana, who has more than 15 years’ experience in Aesthetic Medicine. The treatments showcased at the event included the methodology used in the dermal fillers (Juvederm) and Botox, which are both some of the leading minimally invasive anti-aging injectables in the market.

According to Dr Bonesana, the injectables used on the lips – Juvederm Voluma, add more volume to the area making the lips more outlined. “This particular dermal filler lasts anywhere from 8 months to one year, depending on the patient’s body mechanism and lifestyle,” explained Dr Bonesana.

Botox on the other hand, he said, lasts for about 3 – 4 months, and is one of the best injectables especially when it comes to erasing wrinkles and fine lines on the face. “Although Botox is made for mostly aesthetics, it can also be used for other purposes, like to treat Migraine symptoms as well as Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating),” stated the doctor.

Awareness

The media demo event, according to the Head of Marketing at Dubai Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, Ms. Asiya F. Bokhari, was a big success, considering it was the first time the clinic has held such a demo in Abu Dhabi. “Right now we are looking to have similar events in all the branches; at least once every month or two,” she said adding that such an event creates awareness and reduces some of the misconceptions most people have about plastic and cosmetic surgery.
