Dr. Sasa Janjanin

Dr. Sasa Janjanin is a DHA-Licensed Otolaryngologist with clinical experience of almost 22 years. Originally hailing from Croatia, he currently resides in Dubai, assuming his responsibilities as an ENT specialist and Facial Plastic Surgeon at Dubai Cosmetic Surgery Clinic. His knowledge and expertise in nose surgeries make him one of the best surgeons for facial plastic surgeries, especially rhinoplasty.

Educational Background

Dr. Sasa acquired his graduation degree from Zagreb University in Croatia and went on to specialize at the same Institute. He is a double European Board-Certified in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology.

After receiving advanced surgical training and acquiring a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, he began practicing at some of the best clinics in the USA and Germany. Dr. Janjanin obtained his Master’s and Doctorate degrees in biomedical science. His research work was based on adult stem cells, tissue engineering, and nanomaterials. European Rhinologic Society also awarded him with a special prize for basic research.

Professional Experience

Dr. Sasa has extensive experience in treating patients with ENT problems or head and neck disorders. Before his professional relocation to Dubai in 2011, Dr. Sasa served as a faculty member at the University Hospital, where he taught ENT and facial plastic surgery to medical students. He was also performing over 500 surgeries per year at the University.

In addition to this, Dr. Sasa has a special interest in treating sports-related ENT problems. He served as a consultant for various national sports teams and professional athletes, some of whom are medal winners in the Olympics and European Championship.
