Born and raised in Germany, Prof Dr. Robert Hierner is a DHA-Licenced Aesthetic and Reconstructive surgeon. He is a pioneer in the field of Plastic Surgery. He is considered an International expert in his field!

He completed his MBBS from Ludwig Maximilians University Munich, Germany in 1990. Since then, Prof Dr. Robert Hierner has been serving in the field of Plastic Surgery in Europe and across the globe. He speaks multiple languages such as German, English, Dutch, and French.

Educational background

Prof Dr. Robert Hierner did his first University diploma in Microsurgery from Claude Bernard University Lyon/France in 1992. After that, he served as a board member of the German Board in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery in 1997. Prof Dr. Robert Hierner has a double qualification, he also served as a board member of the German Board of Hand Surgery (2000) and the Belgium Board of Oncology Surgery (2004). He never stops learning and recently did a University Diploma in Bariplastic Surgery from Descartes University Paris/France in 2018.

Prof Dr. Robert Hierner has vast experience in the field of Plastic Surgery for almost 32 years. He has served as the Consultant for Plastic, Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery, Consultant Bariplastic Surgery, and Consultant Hand Surgery around the globe. He performed several plastic surgeries for different body parts and also performed body contouring successfully. He is also a Founding Member of Hand Medicine: With specific training and large experience in Hand Surgery for congenital malformations, trauma including brachial plexus and peripheral nerves, tumors, and aging hands (degenerative arthritis, hand rejuvenation).
