If you were to stroll into any cosmetic surgeon’s office and request for a mummy-make-over, your surgeon or your friends would know exactly what to do and what you are talking about. It does not take rocket science for you to know what to nip, where to tuck and where to add.
But when a man suggests having a daddy-do-over,most people would not know what he is talking about or where it is done. The rise of the daddy-do-over is eminent, because as we had informed you in an earlier article, men are beginning to care about how they look, hence turning to cosmetic surgery in Dubai.
After going through the pleasures as well as hardships of life, women’s bodies change physically. After childbirth, most mothers are now reclaiming back their bodies through the mummy-make-over. This basically involves breast lift and breast augmentation, liposuction and tummy tuck.
After the mummy-make-over and all the healing has taken the place, mummy will feel as good as new, with a new-found confidence and a spring on her walk. At 40 years, you might be mistaken to think she is 25 years old.
So, why wouldn’t daddy also want a spring on his step? Men also go through similar changes on their bodies when they have children. They might not give birth or breast feed, but in the end, the pressures of parenthood take a huge toll on them.
This is why you might find that a man has aged about 20 years within five years. The midriff would expand and he would start losing his hair. This stress can also at times lead to Gynecomastia, which is the enlargement of the breast tissue in men due to an imbalance of hormones.
Basically the daddy-do-over also involves several procedures like liposuction, tummy tuck, eyelift, hair transplant, a stronger jaw, and if he is career oriented, he would also go for the Forbes facelift.
With these procedures, they would also look as good as new. With the increase in the daddy-do-over demand, cosmetic surgeons are also reporting an increase in the number of men going in for cosmetic procedures.
I mean, who would not want to look good and beautiful? Just because a man would never scream of having a tummy tuck or a facelift from the rooftop, that does not mean he is not doing it. Men are flocking cosmetic surgery clinics as much as women.
The figures released by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) show that men had more than 1 million cosmetic procedures in 2013. The numbers of these cosmetic procedures geared towards men have so far increased more than 273% since 17 years ago.
According to this ASAPS report, also mentioned were the top five cosmetic surgery procedures for men. This included Rhinoplasty, male breast reduction, liposuction, eyelid surgery and ear reshaping. Most of these procedures also dominate the list on the daddy-do-over procedures.
Hollywood being Hollywood, the daddy-do-over would not be known if it was not for these famous folks in Tinsel town. Celebrities like John Travolta are known for their hair transplant procedures among others, as well as George Clooney’s subtle eyelift.
Since parenting is for both mummy and daddy, both of them need do-overs, not only one. At Dubai Cosmetic Surgery we understand that need and we have packages for both men and women, to reclaim back their bodies and shave off a few years from their looks.
